Being Vulnerable

One benefit

of a difficult time

is

recognizing our own

vulnerability.

Then,

perhaps

we can meet

other people

in theirs.

My relationships

with family and friends

have deepened

when we have shared

our vulnerabilities,

our human side.

Though our culture

often

encourages

what is considered

strength

in the face of

adversity,

sharing our

wounded-ness

can bind

us

to

one another

and

to the Spirit

and Light

of the universe.
